For each event, Registration opens at 8.30am, and racing begins at 10am.

Each event will be pre-marked, and route maps will be available to view on the morning of the race.

The total distance of each race will be approximately 50 kilometers, either over 1 lap, or multiple laps.

The overall series winner in each class receives a challenge shield (to be returned the following year) and a replica (to keep).

Class winners on the day receive prizes donated by The Bike Place and Saddle Skedaddle.

Parking: The Event Car Park is behind The Anglers Arms, and the normal charge of £3 per vehicle will be collected by Forestry Commission staff. The same charge would apply if you were coming to ride the MTB trails, and this money goes back into trail maintenance. Please do not park anywhere else in the Village as this may cause problems for local residents.

1st - 10pts

2nd - 6pts

3rd - 4pts

4th - 3pts

5th - 2pts

6th - 1pt

Attendance points per race - 2pts

Please not that we've changed the way we award attendance points to a standard 2 points per race.  This is for ease of administration.

Entry Fees are as follows:

Enter 1 event - £22

Enter 2 events - £40

Enter 3  events - £57

Enter all 4 events - £72

Most importantly of all... The proceeds from The Bike Place Marathon Series are split equally between the Great North Air Ambulance, and the Kielder Trail Reavers.
